YES or NO....

... votes are being cast all over the country today to decide whether Scotland should be independent so I wanted to mark it in some small way.

There have been 'yes' and 'no' banners, posters badges and stickers everywhere. Even out on the smallest of islands as you can just about see on this photo today or you might see clearer if you view on large!

My friend said while we were out walking earlier that her dad always said that religion and politics were a personal thing that would remain private until his dying day and she had decided to adopt this attitude when the topic of the referendum was raised. From what I have witnessed personally I think she has made a good decision as it has been hotly fought over for weeks now and split the country.

I have not displayed a YES or NO sticker or badge anywhere and I have only discussed it with people I know well.

Not long now until we know the outcome ......
