I queued just after 7am to cast my vote this morning, afterwards I felt quite relieved that it was done at last, the build up has felt overwhelming at times.

I was warned off taking a photo near the polling station, so just outside it next to the campaign boards was as close as I dared. Warned off, despite there being a film crew practically camped on the Primary School doorstep...

Who knows what will happen next? I'm going to stop worrying about it and enjoy a specially bottled 'Referendum' beer which comes in 4 or 5 different label designs, each by a Scottish artist. The man who sold it to me in the beer shop was the most anxious person about the vote that I've come across over the whole campaign.
