#indyref road trip

Having cast my vote a while back as a postal vote, I managed to avoid the queues today. I went out to Tesco in the morning, and then decided to go for a drive with no idea where I was going, making a decision at each junction. Somehow, I ended up in Ullapool. I've never been before.

On the way back, it turned into a bit of a Russian Roulette road trip, as the petrol light came on much sooner than I'd have liked. I managed to nurse it back to Tesco again.

I thought about ignoring the referendum and just posting the pic of the boats, but it didn't feel right on such a big day. Thankfully the misty sky meant an easy photoshop job as a compromise.
