Muckle Meg alone in the haar

It was exceptionally foggy today with absolutely no visibility from the castle. It gave an eerie claustrophobic quality to a place that usually has sweeping vantage points. It was kind of an enjoyable experience, something different. I took this photo of Mons Meg (the cannon) crouched drearily in the fog with only a flag for company. I actually think she might be enjoying her solitude after a busy summer of being a backdrop in tourists photos.
