Simple beauty

Well, the waiting is over and the results of the referendum are now known. Personally I am pleased with the outcome, I cannot imagine the UK without Scotland, it is all part of what makes this country what it is. Also it seems that Scotland will now get more of what they want with the promised devolution, so surely a good outcome for all? And then there was that bit about if independence did get granted, we would end up with two very weakened military forces - inadequate to face the increasing threat of terrorism....that got me feeling rather nervous. But then I am not Scottish and cannot imagine their deep rooted feelings on the matter, so I respect that some people will be very disappointed.

I found out that Easyjet are now flying direct to Strasbourg so I have booked to go see Luke at the end of October for a few days - very excited about that!
