The clock that hanged MacPherson

The hands of the clock were moved forward two hours and so the reprieve from the king to save the life of the 18th century outlaw did not arrive in time. Macpherson broke his fiddle and was executed. Rough justice!
The clockface was moved from Banff, the site of the deed to Dufftown.
