Thistle

Isn't it lovely to see the wild flowers still giving us colour at this time of year. I've just spent an hour and a half cutting the grass and was amazed at the dandelions and clover still flowering too, long may it last. I also can't believe that I am typing this at 19.10 and it's dark enough to need a light on indoors, the patio door is open and I am being serenaded by a little Robin sitting high in a conifer in the garden, how lucky is that.
