High Pressure

This photo does nothing to impress the warmth today: had a temperature of 28degC as I drove home. The grey start to the day cleared around midday and the temperatures soared in the sun. The heat drew out the moisture levels and soon huge cumulonimbus were towering at the edges of the sky fading into the blue at their base.
