A day's work
So the man replacing our fence is cursing the ground we live on. It has taken him a life time to dig it out. He says had he known what he was up against the quote would have been higher. Good job he didn't know.
William dismissed me at the green gates today. He wanted to be dropped off like Carys is! So Mummy had to stand and watch him walk across to the pen on his own, past the parents standing and then wave his reading certificate (which he forgot to show the teacher yesterday) at Mrs. L. The head was also standing there and took a look at it, I could hear her talking to him but couldn't hear what was said. I later found out she took the certificate off him and then presented it to him in the Achievers Assembly. What was really nice was that I had feed back about Carys from her teacher. When Will's name was called out he was slightly unsure what he should do so she stood up to show him. I guess she shouldn't of really and could have got herself into trouble, but it is nice to know that her protective big sister instinct kicks in now and again.
Ballet tonight. Will seemed to burn off some energy doing it and did his homework without problems after. Carys told me she had had great fun and that she has 'nailed' a step, the name of which I can't remember!
