Grozone

What a blissful day today! We met up with some friends at Grozone community garden centre. The kids (and I) tried a spot of pond dipping and found some interesting creatures including a dragonfly nymph, which I've never seen before, and even a newt! We also met the 'beeman' and he showed us the hive, lifting a tray for the children to inspect the honeycomb inside and let everyone have a taste. It was like pure, sweet sunshine! There was also a lovely little area to have a biscuit and a story and it all had a lovely, home-made, quirky feel to it. We will definitely be going again soon!
