Hooked

Back to the practicalities of our first guests arriving this evening.

When we stayed in one of the apartments some months ago we were frustrated by the absence of coat hooks in the entrance foyer (at the base of the steps up to the first floor apartment) so that was always first on our list of fixes.

I ended up spending in inordinate amount of time fitting this, because the wall was made of stuff and nonsense (well, plasterboard and air) and needed a timber backing, and fitting that took multiple rawlplugs and increasing grades of screws, so it gets blipped.

Plumber has fixed one set of taps, the blocked shower, the Coach House heating, half way through the leaking shower, and attempted the 'frozen' taps.  The last one defeated them so he's taken them to soak them in something over the weekend.

Roofers are nearly done on roof #1.  Scheduling roof #2 now...
