What a day!

It has been like an extension of summer today. Absolutely roasting. I went out at lunchtime and the car thermometer read 27c!! The children were melting at school and the resources room, with its air conditioning, was suddenly the place to be! A visit to the gym followed a busy day. On the way home, the sun was beginning to set and the light was lovely. There were people still in the sea and Cobo chip shop was doing a roaring trade. After the flooding of yesterday morning, you could almost believe that Guernsey had been picked up and dropped in the Mediterranean overnight!
