Time & Tide

Last night I walked to Rottingdean with Chrissy on the under cliff for a quickie drink which was not so quick lol. From the view looking back we could see the seven sisters cliffs in the distance at Seaford and I said it would be nice to go over there so today we did.

This blip was taken today from the top peak of the cliff at Seaford. We could see all the landmarks below us as we sat to take in the view and the tranquil atmosphere.

We took the peak in stages as I'm not very fit, anyway.. we saw a guy that parked up, took a kayak of the roof and went out to sea, literally he kept going and kept going. I thought he might be getting up to mischief as he was gone for so long but Chrissy looked through her 60x zoom and could see he was fishing which was not as exciting as my "drug run" idea.

I remembered during the snowy winters of the late 70's I used to sleigh down this steep slope with my old English sheepdog on a sheet of strong plastic hehe - What was I thinking !!

Chrissy suggested we could take our swimmers today and it was so lovely we did - I had my first swim this year, it was great, all my aches and pains melted away . I'm definitely going again.
