Still Life

Very strange dream last night.

I met up with a friend who is a very good if controversial photographer. His particular genre is photographing dead people! He dresses them up does their make-up and hair and then poses them in everyday positions. His pictures were very good if a little disturbing.

Now like the original Burke and Hare, his supply of bodies was not always as forthcoming as he would have liked. So he resorted to the same tactics as his 19th century predecessors.

Seems I was helping out with the lighting at a house where he was arranging his latest victims when I heard a voice in the far distance,

"You're snoring!".

5.39 a.m.

Only a dream, thankfully. Although these shop mannequins do look rather life-like.

Maybe I'm spending too much time in the Grassmarket and watching CSI.
