A Day Of Firsts?

A first for breakfast in a hotel with the monsters.
Actually - they were very well behaved and Squirrel came out with a cracker of a question ............ "Why is she in her dressing gown?"
Indeed - why was she in her dressing gown (and nothing else - Yes, I found that out when she did a Sharon Stone move - just much more blatant) - and her friends in their PJs - and that woman in her curlers?

It was the Pykies travellers who were monsters entertainment at breakfast.

Later No1 son took us boys out to a local RSPB reserve where The Cygnet had his first session 'pond dipping' and being fascinated with all the insects,bugs etc that were caught.
It was a first for all of us when No1 son broke open a gall on an oak leaf to show The Cygnet what was inside and found a gall wasp and not the expected larvae. It was obviously in the process of hatching just at the right time.

It was also a first for me at getting to use the 150-600mm lens that No1 son has on test from Tamron at the moment. An amazing bit of kit for the price.

Also - I got my first batch of dragon fly shots that I am happy with.
