Change

Change is a constant.
A new day ends and begins,
The future unfolds.

... a momentous day all round ... both union and separation.

Today we drove Greg up to Leicester to start at University. I am so proud of him for getting there... it hasn't been an easy journey, but he has turned things around and is now on the brink of the rest of his life.

... We had a complete nightmare of a journey, motorway accident. roadworks etc turned a 3.5 hour journey into a 5.5 hour one.... but we got there in the end ... unloaded the car, hugged and kissed and left, with a last look at the room which will be his home for a year (curiously just above a cctv camera!! - this view makes it look a bit grim, but the shared rooms in the flat overlook the river ....)

.... hard to say goodbye to my baby boy (who now towers above me), but so so proud and excited for him to be starting on this new journey. Our love and thoughts are with you Greg.
