Food for thought

This weekend sees environmental activism happening globally to coincide with the UN Climate Change Conference in New York.
Here in Fishguard the Transition Cafe hosted a lunch with a suitably bleak menu. But sign the petition and make a pledge and your plate would be enhanced by a helping of fresh salad or fruit.
The idea was the brainchild of Vicky Moller, our local sustainability queen, and her kitchen team. I just took the photographs.

(Earlier in the month a couple of holiday makers from Surrey lighted upon our cafe and made a very favoourable report to their own Transition group.)
