Ceiling Shadows

A day spent at our family home for the last 28 years, staging it for going on the market end of next week.

That meant doing a lot of de-cluttering - a euphemism created by realtors to signify 'removing all traces that real people lived in this house' : family pix, things with our name on it, art that it is considered 'personal', the overflow of books in our library, etc. Apparently wire hangers are a no-no as well. Who'd have thought?

A bit depressing, really.
