Not Our House

Our neighborhood opens to a major 4 land highway. This house is in a golf course community that sits across the same highway about a 1/4 mile from our neighborhood. When we inquired there 8 years ago, lots to build on were over $100,000 plus there were many building restrictions that would up the construction costs of a house. I chose this house to blip since it is fairly typical of the houses scattered around the property, most of which are adjacent to one of the tees, fairways, greens, or lakes of the golf course. A new section recently opened and they are doing a promotion for new sales. (Who says the economy is down?) Actually, I don't think the folks who live in this neighborhood worry much about the economy. We have many folks who moved here from wealthier parts of the country - especially the northeast - and seem to have come with money and apparently retired in very good financial condition.
