Where peaceful waters flow

I walked my bike to the repair shop in our neighbour village yesterday. On the way back, I did a little detour and passed by the small lakes, which are used to purify water. I love the little island and how it's first autumn touch reflected on the water. There was a slight drizzle and I really enjoyed the peaceful scene. Whenever I let the beauty of the little things really sink in, it fills me with gratitude and I feel God's hand on my shoulder. This time in particular, because I had just received the results o a series of medical tests which had kept me worried for the past weeks and there is nothing malign. I am truly grateful to enjoy this moment of peace and gratitude.
