Friday is the new Monday.....or at least it is on my current course. We started the course on a Wednesday and had a long four day weekend and so today is really Monday week 4. Still with me? I know Bb won't be!

With Bb being on his boys' weekend in Berlin, I accepted an invitation to go to a Bollywood Barbecue night with my co-tutor and her family. It was held in the garden of the English speaking church here in Bcn. It was a really nice night with very good Indian food and a display of Bollywood dancers. The best part though was catching up with people who we used to see on Sundays when we attended this church here, before we started all our gallivanting about. It was a reminder of how time flies too, when I heard that little Florian, still 4 years old in my mind's eye, is about to become a doctor!

This is the last week coming up of this course. We have our assessor with us on Monday and then Wednesday is a public holiday for la Mercé, which is the week long Fiesta Major to celebrate the patron saint of Bcn. The whole city is even busier than usual with lots of musical, theatre and arts events all over the city.
