Another Fine Mess

I went to sort some washing out and the dogs did the usual follow me pattern. Then in a blink of an eye they were gone. I know where they go, just over into the farmers field.

I came back indoors and was pottering about upstairs when he came running up all pleased with himself.....Look at me mum. My poor cream carpet.

I've never seen him so dirty. Filthy from top to toe. He must have been rolling around in mud. It's pretty muddy as it rain so heavily this morning.

I still went out to boot despite the thunder and lightening this morning.Only two of us turned up. I'm glad I went.

Went to a summer ball tonight with the running club. Had a great time. I love getting dressed up for a special occasions now. Once upon a time I wouldn't have wanted to go....how times have changed.
