Peaceful

Took some time out early this morning after another fairly sleepless night and went for a stroll down by the canal.It was a very foggy day to start with, so there was not much going on down there. Mostly swans and cygnets (oh and ducks)! Love the feather effect in this one :) Swans are just so majestic aren't they?

Then I came home to wait in for someone to quote for fixing my guttering problems. He came, quoted, and said he could do it there and then. So rather than wait I decided to get it all done and it is (but my plans for a busy day have rather disappeared now)....

Thinking it maybe an afternoon of pottering and reading or watching Ladies of Lavender which happens to be on BBC2. Any thoughts on that film?
