Kelvingrove Bandstand

Today was 'Open Doors' day in Glasgow which allows access to lots of building around the City.

I was passing here so popped in for a picture of the bandstand. The Kelvingrove Bandstand and Amphitheatre was built by the Glasgow Corporation Parks Department in 1924 - after years of lying derelict it was refurbished in 2014.

My Blip of it over 3 years ago was a bit disappointing due to the terrible state it was in so I played about with a it a lot to give it some interest. So its not a true BEFORE and AFTER!

Good to get access to it today in its refurbished state.
