I had lunch out with a beautiful girl today. Fantastic conversation, big cuddles, lots of smiles and lovely food. Very very good for the soul. Three course Chinese buffet yum yum. She discovered she adores prawn toast and ate her body weight in it, prawn crackers and noodles. She broke her wee heart though, when she dropped her bowl of dessert and splattered ice cream over a man at the next table. She was mortified. He responded by going to get her another bowl of ice cream.

She'd had a fab time at ballet before we went out and when we got home we finished her costume for her first competition- including dying her new satin ballet shoes hot pink. And a pair of shorts, two pairs of pants, a pair of socks and some shorts that she added to the bowl. We ordered her first gymnastics leotard after trying a few for size earlier in the day. A nice "doing afternoon".
