Young Female Mallard

OK! So it is just a common Mallard? But don't she just look cute in her brand new Winter feathers.
This is one of this years Ducklings so I have seen them grow from little black balls of fluff to small stubby winged juveniles kinda resembling their parents? To what is now a fully mature,fully airborne creature.
Good to see it!Hopefully she will survive the Winter with all it's problems! And next year help to expand the colony?
