I went out to buy birthday presents for a couple of girlfriends I'm seeing tomorrow and ended up buying treats for myself as well, including this Begonia rex. I love black plants. The spider dashed behind a leaf as soon as I got the camera out.

It's the Equinox. Shorter days from now on. :-(
