Strasbourg Cathedral

The medieval city is built so close around the cathedral that it is very hard to get a perspective from far. When you arrive at the street that leads up to the "Muenster" as it is also called, it takes your breath away with its Gothic beauty. And I had forgotten that it had only one steeple.
Today this cathedral is thousand years old and there is a big party going on outside around the cathedral, with lights and a classical open air concert. Great atmosphere.
