Birthdy celebrations

The little fella in the middle is my grandson, today he turns 13. We went to Sheringham for the day with him today for dinner and a mooch. The town put on a great party for him - a 1940's carnival!

A lot of time and effort went into creating a fantastic event- families and friends all dressed up, shop window displays and staff serving in costumes of the era, swing and jazz bands playing and people dancing in the street, houses decorated with fake bomb damage, Steam train excursions and old coaches and buses and cars parading round.
