Holding onto summer

After a busy morning, I decided to finish off some jobs in the garden (including painting the fences, that is taking longer than the building of the Titanic) and potting up some new plants for the decking area.

I perched on the decking steps, and took five minutes to soak up the sun and rest. Either side of me there were bees in the flowers, so I grabbed my camera. The spider I snapped last week, had lined himself up a three course meal in his web. I do love autumn, but I wish summer could stay for a while longer.
