Barnstaple Carnival

Today was Barnstaple Carnival Day - very grey but at least the rain held off..... There were quite a few floats and many single walkers. The peacock won the first prize in this category.
The Chemotherapy Appeal Car was part of the parade - and we walked alongside with buckets to collect money which when counted will be shared amongst several charities - ours being one of them! We are almost there with the necessary funds . . . the build is on its way and hopes to be finished by end of Feb next year.....
