Spot the Monkey

Music Stars for Will this morning, Carys came with us and sat with me outside and then ambushed her old child-minders' daughter for a huge hug. We went swimming from there, half of Hitchin was there. I lasted an hour and then had to get out. In that hour W did lots of practicing his swimming on his back. He is determined to get moved up as soon as he can.

After lunch we all headed to Hatfield House despite the weather as we had a free ticket for the house and park. We had a good time and the kids did a quiz around the house which made them look at stuff, but it could do with being a little more interactive for the small people. They also had a sculpture trail on while we were there so we had a wander round it, as the weather allowed.

We also discussed this weeks talk topic "Name five people you would like to have dinner with and why?" Answers ranged from the following: Queen Elizabeth I, Henry VIII, Father Christmas, Darcy Bussell, Steve Backshall and Elisha Willis. A couple of real friends were thrown in for good measure, but I am not sure we actually got all five people to dine with for everyone!
