Alive and kicking..

I was in Glasgow tonight. Whilst it was all kicking off in the city centre, I was in Nice and Sleazys (a great name!) to see some live music.

I didn't realise I liked Thin Lizzy and Wishbone Ash until I recognised them in the supreme guitar playing of a post prog rock band from Inverness who blew me away.

Oh, how I love live music. There's something about a good live band that bewitches me. Pretty much regardless of genre, if they can play with passion, energy and technique - I'm sold!

I'm not sure I've loved anything else unconditionally for as long.

Except chocolate perhaps.

Despite what anyone says, Glasgow is alive and kicking.
