Building Bridges

Seemed appropriate this weekend.

A comfort blip. Like comfort food, but made of pixels instead of stodgy carbohydrates. That, and after five years plus of blips, realising I didn't have a single blip entry of any of the Forth Bridges on here.

So, with Samantha and Euan in tow, we ended up on a slight detour from a trip to Tesco for some Saturday night nibbles. Drove along to South Queensferry to squeeze along the grid-locked narrow streets, then to negotiate the tripods of other like-minded photographers on the foreshore. Good night it turned out for it too; nice sunset colours, Forth smooth and glassy, the two existing crossings suitably silhouetted and the construction of the new Queensferry Crossing visible beyond the two of those.

Might go back in another five years or so and try another.
