Shadows and light

Good to be home again, walking with dog and boy through the North woods at Pollok park. It was a glorious warm day and the most of the park was very busy, but you only have to go off the paths and into the woods to make it feel like you have the place to yourselves. Some of the leaves are turning autumnal, but the beech leaves on the ground are still mostly from last year, and the sunlight still had to find its way through gaps in the trees.
