Owd Betts

Owd Betts, originally the Hare & Hounds, renamed after Betty, a previous long- since-gone owner, is a traditional inn on the Edenfield Road between Rochdale and Bury. Traditional as they come. The views are stunning, both night and day and they serve the largest mixed grill I have ever seen, far too scary to even attempt.

We're here visiting brother no 2, John, keen cyclist, collector of all things, ..... really, all things ..... & great fun. Tomorrow we're off to Dewsbury to meet up with old friends for anniversary services.
