Mushroom picking with Muru

This weekend we are dog-sitting for Muru, Paula's and Esa's dog. She is a cute, quiet little French bulldog who loves the woods. In this picture it looks as if she were alertly listening for some wolves or bears - which do reside in these forests, too.

We found some funnel chanterelles, though it is a bit early in the season for them. They are delicious in all kinds of mushroom dishes, so we'll dry them up for the winter.
