The Monkey Stages

Well the plan was to do Stage 5 and 6 of the MacLehose Trail. There are monkeys on these stages but I never took any pictures of them as I didn't want to stop in case they approached me. I have decided I don't really like the monkeys. People come up by bus to feed them so they do have an expectation of food.

There are lovely views down across Kowloon to HK island and you can start to get a feel for just how crowded it can be. However during Stage 6 a friend was ill (combination of heat, jet lag and lack of food) so we just walked out but we had done enough walking by then! She was much better after a lie down and some Gu gels
