Shadows on the Wall
Edinburgh has welcomed us back into its fold with sunshine and an autumnal nip in the air.
The fallen leaves are beginning to carpet the ground and I can see that my lavender needs to be culled, but the geraniums are still happy to add colour to the patio.
Despite the obvious need for both of us to cut back on the calories, we sauntered along to our favourite café for coffee and toast early this morning.
With a social week ahead, our new curves will have to remain intact for the time being.
There are metaphors which might be appropriate for this image considering the week Scotland has just witnessed; if you can think of any, I'm afraid there will be no prizes for the most apt.
