A Different Perspective
I was on a train some time ago and was listening to the conversations going on around me, when one in particular caught my attention. An older gentlemen (late 60's) was looking out the train window, watching the buildings and walls pass by, all of which had graffiti 'tags' all over them (much like the ones you see above). The man then turned to his two companions and said:
"I wish I could decipher all that graffiti. I mean it looks awful, but it must mean something to someone. Is it protest? Is it hieroglyphics? Fascinating."
I found his point of view on the matter rather fascinating, so I made a note of it and always planned to share it when I got an appropriate photo to accompany it.
In other news, I had a wonderful day, having a boozy brunch with my girls and then headed into the city for Damian's cousin Bec's 31st birthday. After a full day of festivities we headed home and ordered pizza for dinner. Good times.
