Central Otago sunshine

Back on the road today; driving between Queenstown and Dunedin. So many beautiful landscapes along the way we could've pulled up every few minutes for a photo..

We did stop for this though, truly beautiful light bathing the fields close to Middlemarch, along State Highway 87, and creating a massive rainbow!

Driving through this landscape with our classic glass bottles of Coco Cola and radio tuned to the "all 90's weekend" on a warm-tone medium wave station that could've been Atlantic 252 twenty years ago! This journey evoked much in the way of nostalgia; a nostalgia we are rediscovering and indeed finding current in present day New Zealand. What a beautiful and fantastic country.
