Scarecrow Festival

We had a great day out today at the Bothwell Scarecrow Festival.

Most of what was going on was at the primary school. The sun shone all day and it really felt like a summer's day.

All Kerr's friends were there and they all had great fun going on the rides together and watching the puppet show. They also took part in a model clay workshop and each made a sunflower badge.

Mack had his first ever go on a ride. I was worried that he might try to climb out, but I think he was too shocked to even move. He couldn't believe what was happening.

We went back to Noah's house for a couple of hours afterwards, then we headed to Pizza Express for a belated birthday meal for Kerr.

After that we went to visit Abigail in hospital. Kerr very kindly gave her the clay badge he had made this afternoon.

It was almost 9pm when we eventually got home. Both boys were shattered and went straight to bed.
