Purple Paradise

I drove into Washington, DC this morning to try once again to get a sunrise picture at the Jefferson Memorial . When I got there, the sky had a beautiful purple hue and got two decent shots before the sky started to turn a normal blue. I'll get the picture I want (with brilliant orange/pink) eventually but that will have to wait for another time.

The "paradise" part of this title was being able to enjoy the entire Tidal Basin with absolutely no one around... : ))
