Hamamelis Jelena

One of the Witch hazel family, Jelena has burnt orange spidery flowers in February, unlike the more usual yellow flowers of Hamamelis Mollis. But it's big time is right now when it wears it's autumn coat.
Back home after a week away and our front garden was covered in boring dry brown leaves from our large Whitebeam. It's best time is spring. But whilst down on my knees, the Witch hazel was beautifully back lit.
