A Milestone

Thirty years is a long time, but the years have gone by in a flash. It seems like only yesterday that we were young newlyweds, with the joy and excitement that comes from simultaneously being in the moment and yet anticipating what the future holds. We have grown and changed and matured, yet somehow seem more connected than ever with the passage of time. There is such a feeling of contentment knowing we will spend the rest of our lives together, continuing to make memories along the way. I'm so blessed to have the best husband ever, and to have chosen well all those years ago. I will love you forever!

P.S. We spent a day celebrating at a resort in Coronado, and this lovely dessert was complements of our server at dinner the night before our real anniversary! Pureed passionfruit at the center, surrounded by hazelnut mousse, covered in chocolate with gold leaf, served alongside a crisp florentine with banana gelato, drizzled with passionfruit and chocolate sauce. Decadent, yet surprisingly light!
