Vintage

The sight of this splendid old vehicle, on a cobbled lane this afternoon, came in contrast to my recent memories of 3100 miles on US roads. The driver kindly stopped to help me take this shot.

A few minutes later, after passing an even smaller football ground than yesterday's, the unmistakeable sound of a Spitfire, presumably flying to mark the anniversary of the Battle of Britain, seemed topical.

The berries on the moorland trees looked spectacular today.
