New president

This is a great day for Afghanistan. Not only a new president has been announced (and first ever elected in general election) but this announcement has been awaited for weeks (months actually) with negative impact on economy, social mood and international engagement. It seemed like everything was in suspension until the results were announced - so it's over now. We'll see what tomorrow will bring (esp. security-wise)
