Yes it's him again

A lovely Sunday today - an early morning run, then got Adam up and ready for his first driving lesson. He thoroughly enjoyed it and the instructor said he was a natural...unlike his mother who failed her driving test the first time! (But I am a very good driver today, albeit a bit too slow for the boys liking)

We went out for a lovely lunch to celebrate Gavin's birthday which is next week - as he leaves for Australia again tomorrow and will be gone for nearly 2 weeks so he won't be home for his birthday. Needless to say I am getting a bit fed up with these trips....

I almost forgot to take a photo today, but thankfully Thomas came to the rescue. (Murdoch is looking too scruffy as he needs a haircut, so he was ruled out!!) Thomas is settling into his new school very well and enjoying it. Last week he was selected to do a reading in chapel to commemorate some of the school boys who died in the First World War, and by coincidence Adam, who is a prefect, had to do the prefect's reading that day. I had a few comments from teachers about how lovely it was to see both brothers up in the pulpit at the same time, a unique moment.

Now off to hide the birthday cards in Gavin's packed suitcase...
