South end of the lake

A wonderful day. Spent most of it sitting out in the garden, where at one point a fine looking fox strolled down the lawn. Towards sunset had a wander along 'our' end of Coniston Water. This is the home of the Swallows and the Amazons of Arthur Ransome fame and the little boat on the right here is indeed called Swallow.
