all packed up but missed the boat

its my birthday and my brothers and we should have been joining him and his wife on their canal boat today but.....blimming bug........
boat went without us....
thought birthday celebration cancelled but...
some brave friends arrived on doorstep bearing gifts from afar...and it was lovely to see their smiley faces. Miss Molly's dad ventured closer but was masked up and wearing rubber gloves....made us laugh. Rest of day spent relaxing in front of tv and messaging all my lovely thoughtful friends.
My quietest birthday in years but how lucky am I.
